When it comes to dating and love, the only real thing that matters is how your partner makes you feel. That being said, when you date an older woman, your family and friends might give you a hard time. Dating someone ten years older than you is not really that big of a deal, as long as you are over 35 years old. If you try to date someone ten years older than you before the age of 35, things could be a little more complicated. Once you hit 35, you are likely to get wiser over the next years of your life, but you probably wont get any more mature.

Before hitting 35, you are going through life at different maturity levels. If you are especially mature for your age, then you might be able to get away with dating a woman ten years older than you before the defining age of 35, but it is not common. The problem that occurs most of the time is simply that typically women mature faster than men and when your woman is already ten years ahead, you could have problems. A woman ten years older than you may be ready to settle down while you may not be. Overall however, it is just an individual to individual thing.
