Get Rid Of Cellulite, Become A Cellulite Reducer

Author: Laurel Tevolitz

How do you get back your smooth skin and get rid of cellulite?

Many women feel they have done everything possible to be in the best shape of their lives yet have difficulty with the cottage cheese, especially in the butt and thighs. No matter how great of shape your body is in (yes fit people have it too!), the remedy to get rid of cellulite is working from the inside out.

In the outer layer of skin, our fat cells store what we consume from meals. Simply put, bad fats!! Fat cells are in the entire body and are genetically predetermined as to where they are going to settle on the human body. Basically, the body does this in order to fend off starvation. Fat cells then release their contents in the form of acids and glycerol. Since starvation periods don't occur often, the body tends to store fatty contents in excess and we then gain weight.

Thus when fat cells increase in size and number, it creates cellulite by:

  • Putting pressure on the components that promote healthy connective tissues;

  • Storing fat, reducing good circulation and accumulating of liquids under the skin.

When this happens, accumulation of unhealthy toxins and liquids store and the tissue that binds our skin becomes swollen. Surprisingly, excess fat cells destroy elastin and collagen fibers making cellulite a painful experience when touched or placed under pressure.

How to be a Cellulite Reducer

In order to get rid of cellulite, you must mind the following:

  • Diet - Follow a healthy diet and avoid foods that produce unnecessary fat storage in the body.

  • Breathing - Proper breathing keeps oxygen flowing through the blood.

  • Exercise - Cardio stimulates the metabolism and any form of exercise, in particular weights, tone the skin and build healthy muscle tissue.

  • Get Rid of Waste and Toxins - Increasing fluid (mainly water) intake and moving urine flow through the body. The skin should be detoxified by sweating and perspiration (exercise/cardio)

  • Relaxation - Eliminate stress inside and out!

  • Massage - Get a rubdown on a regular basis to promote circulation to those areas that normally wouldn't have it. This will assist those areas in improving circulation.

To fight and get rid of cellulite, there must be dedication and consistent commitment. Many sources fight the battle and there is no miracle cellulite remedy as of today, however, it can be improved. It needs to be treated by eliminating the unhealthy habits we form as well as changing the lifestyle to prevent a future problem. Again, this can be coupled with cellulite targeted herbs, cream, lotion or gel to maximize the effects, but most importantly, always remember to treat the body from the inside out.
