Corporate Kits

Author: Jimmy Sturo

A corporate kit is a file generally enclosing important items for the regular maintenance and administration of a company. It is basically a folder that holds trial stock certificates, register, rules, and corporate notes.

Corporate kits are enormous revenue generators for a lot of online incorporation services. According to Federal government rules, each corporation should keep a current record of its meetings and shareholder information. The name of a filed business entity is the corporate name.

Once the company is filed, an organizational meeting needs to be held where by-laws are adopted and the process is completed. Then, stock certificates are distributed to shareholders. These transactions need to be recorded in the stock transfer ledger. Also, in several states, before you open a corporate account, authorities may ask for a corporate seal. Corporate kits include all of these items to maintain and protect company records.

All corporate kits include member certificates stamped with the corporate name, official issue of the corporation and other important information. It also includes a trial member's agreement, stock transfer ledger, company seal, special forms for annual meetings, medical and dental return plans, different central forms, pre-printed minutes and by-laws, or blank pages for minutes, matching slip case and tabs to store articles of incorporation.

Some corporate kits have a 3-D locking ring, which holds documents neat and flat, causing less wear and tear on the paper. The inside cover has a pocket to hold additional papers, CDs and business cards. Some corporate kits have a case to ensure a safe place to keep all your documents. Front and back inside covers have pockets to hold papers.

Corporate kits are intended for convenience and to assist fast and easy corporate system and corporate record maintaining. They facilitate organizational and safekeeping purposes.
